Maywick pioneered the use of gas brooders for poultry, having developed Britain's first gas brooders in 1948. During the 1950's, Maywick spent weeks studying poultry grouwth and behaviour, working on farms equipped with Maywick brooders ensuring the birds needs were met, with no overheating. This early work continues in association with the poultry and game bird industries.
Maywick combines the rearing expertise of the grower with it's knowledge of gas engineering, producing top quality brooders.
